Abstract luminous structures expressing relationships and transformation

RESEARCH ATLAS / scenarios

Compare the possibilities.
Keep the assumptions.

A scenario is a conditional result: if these inputs and operations hold, this is what the model expects. Keep alternatives, observations and corrections distinct.

A WORKFLOW YOU CAN FOLLOW

Change one instruction.
Inspect the consequence.

This synthetic memory example compares two independently replayed branches. The trace comes from the canonical local engine; display controls only select what you see.

Canonical synthetic trace · Dictionary reference · not learned · revision 1

A value, an overwrite, and a reported difference

DECLARED ASSUMPTIONS
  • Each branch starts with empty memory.
  • The literal key is color.
UNKNOWN
  • No real-world observation is supplied.
baseline · complete simulation

Overwrite before recall

Remember color is green. Set color to blue. Recall color.
STEP 1
remember
Remember color is green

stored · value: green

Source characters 0–23 · last write memory-1
STEP 2
remember
Set color to blue

stored · value: blue

Source characters 25–42 · last write memory-2 · overwrites memory-1
STEP 3
recall
Recall color

recalled · answer: blue

Source characters 44–56 · last write memory-2
CONDITIONAL PREDICTION · REVISION 1 / STEP 3

color → blue

From memory-2 · Dictionary reference · not learned

mismatch · observation comparison

The reported observation differs from this bounded simulation prediction.

Prediction: blue
Reported observation: green

synthetic_model_replay · Synthetic illustration: the alternative replay's value is deliberately reported against the baseline. This is not a real-world observation.

alternative · complete simulation

Omit the overwrite

Remember color is green. Recall color.
STEP 1
remember
Remember color is green

stored · value: green

Source characters 0–23 · last write memory-1
STEP 2
recall
Recall color

recalled · answer: green

Source characters 25–37 · last write memory-1
CONDITIONAL PREDICTION · REVISION 1 / STEP 2

color → green

From memory-1 · Dictionary reference · not learned

not comparable · observation comparison

No observation was supplied; this does not assert absence.

Prediction: green
Reported observation: None supplied

No report does not assert that a binding is absent.

Switching the displayed branch does not alter any prediction or observation. The disagreement is deliberately synthetic; neither branch verifies a real-world color.

bounded workflow · SCN-001Two branches preserve their own predictions and reports

The canonical Python engine produces both empty-state memory traces. Predictions identify a branch, revision, step and key; observations are separately recorded and compared.

This public example is synthetic and uses the dictionary reference. Its deliberately misattributed report illustrates a discrepancy without establishing a real-world fact.

FOR OPERATIONAL DECISIONS

A projection helps
when its premises are visible.

The same discipline can guide a future customer workflow: show the source, declare the rules, compare alternatives and keep the actual outcome. The memory example is the implemented scope today.

ASSUMPTION

What we are taking as given.

A supplied statement or condition may still need confirmation.

PREDICTION

What this branch expects.

A calculation is conditional on its inputs and operations.

OBSERVATION

What was separately reported.

A match, mismatch or missing report stays attached to the relevant branch and revision.
