# YouTube case inspector: software verification Execution date: 2026-10-05. Component version: 0.1.0. The local synthetic import/inspect/review workflow is verified. No real corpus was collected, human agreement measured, representation learned or scientific relationship established. ## Requirement dispositions These dispositions extend the acceptance examples in [YT-CS-001](OSCARMIKE_YOUTUBE_CASE_STUDY.md); they do not replace historical OscarMike, owner-pilot or representation-study evidence. | Requirement | Current disposition | Evidence and next decision | |---|---|---| | YT-001 source linkage | Verified for record integrity | Exact source/comment references and quoted spans are checked. Human correctness still needs independent annotation. | | YT-002 evidence fidelity | Verified locally | Unicode codepoints, combining marks, text representation, strict imports and export/restart round trips pass. | | YT-003 network observations | Verified for supplied records; collection planned | Partial threads retain only observed parent edges. No live retrieval or completeness receipt exists. | | YT-004 preserve relevant effect | Conditional research | Freeze own representation, operators and held-out tests after data/rubric readiness. | | YT-005 distinguish changed effects | Conditional research | Require contrastive consequences and observable recovery; no encoding has passed. | | YT-006 missing context | Verified for review/history mechanics | Unresolved references, nullable ratings and retained corrections are supported. Human assessment quality remains pending. | | YT-007 contribution differs from attention | Verified for separate storage; rubric validation planned | Human context/contribution/expressed-engagement ratings remain separate from counters. No automated scorer or private-intent inference is implemented. | | YT-008 activity is not cause | Verified for local reporting | Negative net changes remain negative; reports identify descriptive ratios and missing context without causal attribution. | | YT-009 own-method direction | Verified for this slice | Deterministic validation and human review only; no pretrained encoder, OCR, annotator or model call. | | YT-010 whole episode record | Verified locally | Versioned title, thumbnail identity/annotations, passages, comments and counters join to an episode; byte-matched local image inspection passes. | | YT-011 count dynamics | Verified for descriptive synthetic observations | Missing values/zero denominators/changed metric definitions remain unavailable or incomparable; sampled comments and video totals stay separate. | | YT-012 purpose-specific manifold | Conditional research | Graph records and source-role distinctions are implemented. A manifold, useful metric, invariant representation and attention prediction remain hypotheses. | ## Executed checks - Designated CPU Python: **1,350 passed, 5 skipped, 27 subtests passed** in the full `python -m pytest -q` suite. The five skips are SciPy, Ripser and three CUDA checks unavailable in this CPU environment; they are not optional/GPU passes. - `python -m renigma math-check`: passed. These finite algebra checks establish no language or YouTube research result. - **87 JavaScript tests passed** across the local application, scenarios, owner interface, case inspector, extension and public-source boundary. - **10 actual Chromium workflow checks passed** against the real loopback HTTP server and canonical validator with synthetic inputs. Coverage includes review before adoption, correction history, exact Unicode evidence, cancellation, malformed/duplicate imports, stale responses, append-only revisions, local image hashes, in-page deadline expiry, 320-pixel keyboard/reduced-motion use, restart/import and eight snapshots containing 1,024 synthetic comment records. No external page requests were observed. Wide/narrow screenshots were inspected. - Windows launcher `-CheckOnly -Port 8769`: ready using the designated external environment. Python integration checks verify missing-root and occupied-port failures without fallback or stopping another process. - `git diff --check`: passed. Final browser receipt hashes match the delivered source files. Run commands use the active checkout's `src` explicitly because the shared isolated environment also has an editable installation. All generated artifacts, browser profiles, caches, logs and the 216-file evaluated-source copy are on G:. Private combined receipt: `G:/RenigmaLLM_Artifacts/youtube-case/validation/final-20261005/receipt.json`. Source manifest fingerprint: `9e9800db39ba913c6f665f9d1d9af912a60b4eb0834ba5f3bf58419339ca9d5a`. Combined receipt SHA256: `f43f7cbfc1b5be2f47365b8327a4fbbe18e984dbf3b650bd8fd4cde2218cf5ca`. Final browser receipt: `youtube-case/browser/youtube-case-browser-6K5ZFm/receipt.json`, relative to the external artifact root. ## Corrections and failed attempts Advisory agent review found five issues: pretty exports exceeded re-import size, an open page could retain expired metrics, future observational captures were accepted, draft editing bypassed append-only revision, and future demo timestamps prevented present-day annotation. All five were corrected and re-reviewed with no remaining blocker reported. This is same-system code review, not independent scientific replication or CodeRabbit review. Development checks also exposed an assertion that compared fresh report-generation timestamps and an oversized-body HTTP probe that encountered a TCP reset. The tests now compare stable content and exercise declared oversized Content-Length, respectively. The first browser harness attempted to fulfill a canceled route; that harness failure remains in its run directory. The first expanded Node run omitted the website test's required artifact-root setting: 83 passed and one startup failure. Its log is retained alongside the configured 87-pass rerun. None of these earlier failures is relabeled as passed. ## Delivery boundary and next gate The [Windows launcher and guide](YOUTUBE_CASE_WORKBENCH.md) provide explicit local import, adoption, annotation and export. Source-use metadata is an operator declaration, not permission verification. The software does not automatically delete or refresh saved files and is not an operational retention manager. The [availability audit](YOUTUBE_AVAILABILITY_AUDIT.md) has three indexed publisher references; live source text, synchronized counters, thumbnail assets, complete threads and permitted-use/access evidence remain unavailable. Resolve those and the retention process before collection; then freeze the sample, time windows, splits and reviewer rubric. Own-method training and GPU experiments require their separate protocol and receipts. No hosted site change, merge or production release follows from this local verification. ## Source handoff Implementation commit `2ef8b8c75084fcc0a9bd8b5af399c0f9c307811e` was pushed to `codex/youtube-case-study` in the Zulu repository. [Draft PR #10](https://github.com/ZuluYokohama/renigma-operational-semantics/pull/10) is stacked on the owner-pilot branch/PR #9. Repository visibility was observed as private and left unchanged. The evaluated source manifest still matched after the push; the live loopback status reported deterministic validation, no model, no configured collection and explicit export. An explicit CodeRabbit review was requested. Its [2026-10-05 response](https://github.com/ZuluYokohama/renigma-operational-semantics/pull/10#issuecomment-5997986052) provided a summary/walkthrough and reported an exhausted developer-seat allocation for the PR author. At inspection the PR had no submitted reviews or inline review findings. This does not satisfy substantive CodeRabbit review; an appropriately entitled author/reviewer setup remains pending. The request and response do not change local test results or authorize merge. No hosted CI success is claimed.
